quick handmade gift idea: jellyfish scarf
i saw a scarf in a shop window the other day and instantly liked it: jersey, with a cute little detail stitched to it. but then i remembered the fabric simona had given me last time she was here and all the scraps of other cute fabric i have at home.i kept the €15 the scarf was supposed to cost and gave it a go myself. i love jellyfish, at least the harmless kind. as kids when we went on daytrips to the baltic sea in summer, we would always play with them. so i made a little jellyfish design and copied it onto the fabric, then cut it out and zigzag-stiched it onto the jersey fabric. done in less than 15 minutes.
if you like the jellyfish design, feel free to use it in your projects! there is a free pdf download of it here. it's quite versatile and can be used as stencil, template or even an embroidery pattern. if you like you can add those cute eyes too :)

it's true / you just need to copy items (even very expensive ones) you see displayed in any shopwindow and make them yourself / very beautiful!
love this such a cool idea!
